Traditional Ethnographic Characters

The Cockerels

The cockerel is an ethnographic character that brings health and good laying to poultry. Their heads are covered by a conical cap made of paper which is decorated with colorful ribbons. They wear white trousers and white robe, and ride a stick with a carved hen’s head at the front end, while a wisp of hen’s feathers is attached at the back end. Cockerels are also accompanied by a collector.
